Goal: After being acquired by Tyler Technologies and realizing their existing location was no longer working for them, NIC, a leader in digital government solutions, decided to relocate their headquarters. With a budget in mind, they tasked our team with helping to create an environment that would enhance the employee experience using a combination of new and existing furnishings.
Scope: Leaning on the insight and knowledge of the architectural firm, we were encouraged to find the best solution of combining existing workstations, along with new ones. We worked alongside Helix to find the appropriate ancillary solutions to meet our client’s needs, while staying within their budget. In addition to desking, we helped furnish a variety of spaces for employees to work, socialize, hold meetings, and more. This included a large, welcoming café with several seating options to accommodate much of the staff at one time. Several conference and meeting rooms, along with plenty of focus spaces that are as much comfortable as private, are available for both focused and collaborative work. Finally, our flooring division, FDC Contract, provided several flooring solutions to complete the entire space.
