Delivery & Installation

At John A. Marshall Co., we manage delivery and installation every step of the way.

As part of MillerKnoll's Certified Dealer Network, we understand how critical proper delivery and installation are to your schedules, people, and work activities. We ensure that all product is delivered according to schedules and coordinated with the site manager and tradespeople. We provide supervision, equipment, and all the necessary permits to proceed quickly and safely. And, we verify the product against the delivery ticket with a commitment to clean, repair, or replace damaged product.

John A. Marshall Co.'s installation services don’t just start when product is delivered. We plan the installation, prepare the site, and disassemble and remove any existing furniture. If desired, we’ll move existing furniture and reinstall it in a new location. We can also install carpet tile under existing systems furniture using a premier lift system, which results in a faster, less disruptive outcome since the furniture doesn't have to be dismantled. Our installers simply show up after hours, lift the furniture, install the carpet, and it's back to business as usual the very next day.

Our furniture installers are MillerKnoll Certified—meaning they complete a series of training programs and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of installation practices. We follow prescribed procedures and adhere to plans and drawings. When the product arrives, our installers unpack, stage, and assemble it in compliance with the manufacturer’s standards—and restore the area to broom clean condition. For flooring projects, we pre-cut orders at our warehouse, when possible, so we can spend our time on-site perfecting the details.

Once installed, we check the product carefully to make sure it’s level, aligned, and working properly. Then we clean and polish it as instructed by the manufacturer. Even after installation is complete, our service isn't. We also train your people to use the product, follow up to assure you’re satisfied, and make any necessary changes.

“John A. Marshall Co.’s installation team was professional, efficient, and excellent at communicating with our project managers and other trades on site. John A. Marshall’s approach to product delivery resulted in no need for product staging on-site. This ultimately meant less time at the dock and on-site for these installers, which made for a very fast and clean installation. I was very impressed with the difference this made, compared to other conventional product delivery methods.”
