Goal: The Herzog Foundation, which exists to help accelerate the development of quality Christ-centered education for grades K-12, sought a reliable, long-term partner and advisor to source and supply furnishings for their recently built Smithville, Missouri, headquarters. With refined architecture and elevated furnishings, they required several unique applications to match their aesthetic.
Scope: We partnered with Focal Design Studio to co-develop these unique, high-end solutions for Herzog’s space. This included a reception station featuring mixed materials, an organic, live-edge custom boardroom table sourced from local trees and hand selected from the lumber yard, and a state-of-the-art podcast recording studio. We also provided flexibility in their training center with stylish, mobile tables that include integrated power. Finally, we furnished four three-bedroom townhomes, which function as a “home-away-from-home” for Ambassador Program members during their time with the foundation.
Our robust corporate capabilities and vast application experience allowed us to iterate our client’s basis of design with solutions that complemented Herzog’s building architecture, current furnishings, and corporate culture.
