John A. Marshall Co. flooring division, FDC Contract, provided and installed the carpet and resilient flooring materials for the Mid-Continent Public Library at their new Colbern Road location in Lee’s Summit, MO. This is one of several locations where we have provided flooring throughout the Kansas City metro. All locations are striving to maintain a consistent look and feel throughout their facilities.

FDC Contract was awarded this project through the bidding process with J.E. Dunn and worked with Helix Architecture on the overall design. Different carpeting was used to help designate key sections, including children’s, teens, study rooms, multi-purpose rooms and the main seating/study areas for patrons. Walk-off carpeting was also utilized in high traffic areas near entryways and in main thoroughfares.
