Goal: Longtime client, UMB Bank, was seeking furniture solutions to fit within an unconventional layout. They have an infrastructure of long corridors, walkways, and bridges between their downtown Kansas City office buildings, which were being utilized as informal meeting spaces. This included squeezed-in conference rooms and lounge seating placed in walkways and corridors. In addition, these areas have a lot of glass, and a solution was needed to make these areas more useable throughout the day.
Scope: The John A. Marshall Co. team provided furnishings, design assistance, flooring, and architectural products on this project in close collaboration with Bell/Knott & Associates and A.L. Huber, the general contractor. In addition, we partnered with Facility Systems, Inc., to provide different daylighting and interior glazing solutions to both block and diffuse sunlight within the space. Understanding UMB Bank’s furniture standards were key to the success of the project. We were able to specify furnishings that met their budget, quality requirements, as well as functionality goals, of the project.
All delivery and installation services were performed by our in-house team.
