Goal:  When the international hotel and resort chain, Margaritaville, selected Kansas City, Kansas, for its newest U.S. location in 2022, we partnered with Turner Construction to provide and install a variety of flooring solutions. The goal was to provide durability and maintain the colorful, tropical, and sophisticated aesthetic that Margaritaville has been known for—on budget and on time for its June 2025 debut.

Scope:  Our commercial flooring team, FDC Contract Flooring, provided carpeting, millwork, and 65,000 square feet of LVT flooring in several customer-facing and back-of-house areas. This included the lobby seating area, the gym, the hospitality suite, and all guest rooms. In addition, all hotel meeting rooms and ballrooms were installed with owner-supplied carpet. Combined with beautiful ceramic tile installed by Metro Tile throughout the facility’s lobby, main walkways, and restroom areas, Margaritaville Hotel Kansas City is now a beautiful travel destination in the Heart of America.
