Goal: The John A. Marshall Co. team was selected to provide ancillary solutions for the renovation and expansion of the Johnson County Central Resource Library. The library sought furnishings for its conference and training rooms, as well as public seating options for several areas, including the facility’s children’s section. In addition, they hoped to provide employees with a dedicated area to collaborate and socialize behind the scenes.
Scope: John A. Marshall Co.'s in-house team provided ancillary furnishing specifications, space planning, power/data integration recommendations, and delivery/installation services. In understanding our customer’s existing furniture standards, we were able to assist with the design and quality requirements of the project to create a solution based on budget, aesthetics, and functionality.
Furnishings included conference and training room tables and chairs, as well as seating for patrons, including booths, colorful benches, and rocking chairs. A standalone lounge area was created for employees with a variety of seating areas to allow employees to work, socialize, or get away from their desks.
