Goal: On behalf of our client, a national energy company, John A. Marshall Co. worked with the customer’s facilities team, HOK, and Flintco contractors to transform their 45th floor into a fresh, bright home for part of the company’s IT team. The standard that was developed and implemented took end users from traditional 70” high, 8x8 workstations to a new lower, lean, sit-to-stand environment. Conference rooms and casual meeting spaces were developed to encourage informal interactions. Customer help bars were created to comfortably accommodate employees while their technology is being evaluated. The standard color palette and existing finishes were continued, but improved upon, using clear glass and more white fabrics. The client also opted to continue using the high-performance Aeron task chair that they have relied upon for many years.
Scope: The John A. Marshall Co. team provided furnishings, client consultation, as well as delivery and installation services using our partner, Quinlan Interior Services. By understanding our customer’s existing furniture standards, we were able to assist with the design and quality requirements, as well as functionality goals, of the project to create an inviting space to be enjoyed by employees for years to come.
