John A. Marshall Co. Offers Custom, Protective Screens to Customers
When faced with a shortage of protective screen materials and longer than usual lead times, we devised our own in-house solution.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, overwhelming requests for sneeze guards and other protective screens led to longer than usual lead times, as well as limited supplies of acrylic and glass screens from manufacturers. As a result, John A. Marshall Co. devised its own solution to help clients combat the virus and manage workplace safety.
Using locally sourced PVC sheeting and clear and frosted acrylic, our installation team was able to create temporary-use screens that can be installed to most workstations with clips and/or magnets. To date, several customers have ordered these products for their offices and provided positive feedback.
Apparel designer, Design Resources, Inc., was one such customer. “Many thanks to everyone for their help on this project,” said VP of Creative, Chad Kaberlein. “The guys did their usual excellent jobs with the installation. Things look great and I couldn't be happier with the fast turn time.”
Screens can be sized to your specifications for approximately $25 per square foot, depending on the materials used, plus the cost of hardware and any shipping for out-of-town orders. Larger projects, such as large custom sneeze guards for reception desks, could cost approximately $35 per square foot. Our team also has the ability to tailor these screens to fit the current furniture condition or make special cut-outs, if needed, for transactional windows.
Custom screens can be delivered within a 2-3-week lead time and be installed by our team, or on your own.
